okay, so maybe the last photo was a little gangsta, although as those of you who know Sarah know, she’s FAR from that… anywho, we’re down to the last four days! this photo is from a post-makeup iPhone photo ambush (as most of the photos on this blog seem to be) after Sarah pulled into the driveway… muahaha.
Thanks to Lora Kelley for the makeup trial run! She’ll be doing it for the wedding as well… woohoo!
designing programs, making plans for photography, etc. *yawn*
who saw 24? we board our cruise ship next monday afternoon…
unless they have sat tv on the cruise, we’re gonna get behind…
we’re down to one hand…
W-Day: Saturday, April 4. The day is quickly approaching! Sarah’s bridesmaids created a countdown chain… and here it is… in its shortened state.
but who’s counting?
Wedding planning is crazy. All the big stuff is out of the way, but all the little details? Not so much. Sarah just made a list of what’s left before the big day… fun.
yesterday (3/21) we took a truckload of stuff down to Kernersville to move into the new apartment. we're not done, and hardly any of our furniture matches, but ya know, God has provided quite a bit… enough so that our place is certainly livable without us having to buy a ton of new stuff. Many thanks to the moms for washing all our new dishes & giving our kitchen some organization. Thanks to Sarah's dad for driving the big 26' Penske truck (he loved it). Thanks to Tim Shrader for helping with lots of stuff, and a HUGE thanks to Gene Schlesinger's community group from 121 Church in Winston-Salem (www.121church.org). Our truck wasn't totally full, but these guys (whom we had never met!) unloaded the entire truck in under 1hr. Amazing. That's the body of Christ at work.
…compliments of a bunch of first graders @ Ladd Elementary. You’d be surprised how practical some of these kids are.
“Dear Scott, help her cook.”
“Go to the mountains & have a picnic.”
“Dear Scott, you should make cookies. You should make her chocolate.”
“Sarah, if you need some help with things, just say ‘you need to help me’ and he will. My mom always does it. It will work.”
“Dear Sarah. Help each other. Be nice to each other. Be thankful.”
etc etc…
